Dinosaur removed from beach on health and safety grounds


A huge 20ft sculpture of a Tyrannosaurus Rex has been seized by officials on health and safety grounds after it was taken to a beach.

The life-size metal model was towed into the sea at Weymouth Bay, Dorset, as a quirky way to promote Britain's Jurassic Coast.

The incredible sight caused great hilarity among bathers but unfortunately the local council and police didn't see the funny side.
